ET SI... ?

Psychologists call it counterfactual thinking: the deeply human habit of imagining the lives we did not live. What if I had taken the other road? What if that one thing had gone differently?

What shaped us is not only what happened, but also what others did to us, what we were told, what we were denied. Small details, most of them. But their consequences run deep, because together they make us who we are.

I asked myself some of these questions. And I began to wonder who I would be if my life had been different. I then took some of the possible answers and illustrated them.
